I do not know how I could live without dance. It is typically performed by woman with the midriff exposed. This emphasizing movements of the pelvis, abdominal muscles chest and back muscles as well. The dance involves undulating movements of the belly, and rapid and or slow hip movements for example the 'shimmy' hip drops and lifts. Long skirts are often worn sometimes many skirts are worn. and big pantaloons under their skirts! Many Belly dancers dance bare foot but some styles do wear shoes. The costumes vary depending on the belly dance style. ✲´*`*✲。❄。*Types of Belly Dance `*✲´*✲。❄。*。¨¯`*✲ There are multiple styles of belly dance.
