雑談しながら楽しくできればなあと思っております。 自分の嫌なところを見せることもなく、上っ面だけのつき合いができてしまうネット世界。でも・・・ ガンダムオンラインがサービス開始になる２年位前に、とあるサイトで偶然みつけた詩があるんです。ぼくこれ大好きなんです。紹介します。 Friends Without Faces 　詠み人知らず　訳：ゆうかさん わたしたちは いつまでも ともだち 席について、タイプをして、スクリーンを眺めて、いつも何を言いたいんだろうって考えなくちゃいけなくて、迷路のようなネットの世界をマウスでさまよい、濃い霧に覆われた中何かを、だれかをさがしもとめてる。 チャットをして、悩みを活字にしてしるし、小さなグループをつくって敵ともぶつかり合う。誰かが自分の名前をタイプしてくれるのを心待ちにしてる。知ってくれることを待ってる。それはみんな一緒。 *kiss*や*hug*って打ち込んでバーチャルに愛情表現したりする。たまには浮気心を見せたりする。心のうちをさらけ出して、傷ついた思いをあらわにしたりもする。なぜだかわからない、でもわたしたちは友情をネットの上に築く。 この友情はリアルライフのものみたいに、大きく育つことだってある。 どうして？スクリーンをはさんでいる関係だけど心に正直なともだち。誰にも言えなかった秘密を話し合ったともだち。 だってわたしたちは目が見えないみたいに顔こそ見えないけれど、思いを共有しているから。 答えは簡単、鈴の音のようにはっきりとしてる。みんな自分の悩みを抱えてる、話せるだれかを求めてる。リアルライフの人間には話せない、でも話せる人間がここにいる。だからマシンに向き合って、信じられるだれかに話すんだ。 ばかばかしいと思ってる？でも真実がここにある。わたしたちはともだち、ただ顔がなくて違った名前を持っているだけ。 　 Friends Without Faces Author unknown At the end of the day we are all friends We sit and we type and we stare at our screens, We all have to wonder what this possibly means. With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze, Looking for something or someone as we sit in a daze. We chat with each other, we type all our woes, Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes. We wait for somebody to type out our name, We want recognition, but it is always the same. We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes we flirt, We even chat deeply and reveal why we hurt. We do form friendships but why we don't know, But some of these friendships will flourish and grow. Why is it that on screen we can be so bold, Telling our secrets, that we have never been told. Why is it we share the thoughts in our minds, With those we can't see, as thought we were blind. The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell, We all have our problems and need someone to tell. We can't tell "real" people, but tell someone we must, So we turn to the 'puter and to those we can trust. Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains, They are friends without faces, and odd little names.
